BANZAI News! January 18th, 2008- New Site under CONSTRUCTION! Almost done!

BANZAI! To You!

Tonight, Friday the 18th, we will be at Bistro Europa heading a special benefit for Jeannette Barrack to raise money for her cancer treatment. Jeannette, the sister of Hector - one of the great bartenders at Bistro, is a elementary school teacher and the mother of 8; is in desperate need of financial help to offset the cost of treatments that are required to battle her cancer.

This is a 2 day event kicking off tonight with Patrick Kelly cranking out the acoustic tunes from 9 until 10. Then the Banzai goes on at 10:00 until closing. Tomorrow night Patrick starts the show off at 8:00, with Laura Tasggeist playing a set from 9:00 until 10:00. Then Don't Panic plays from 10:00 until closing.

Not only will the benefit be full of music, there will be silent auctions (of items donated by shops located in Old Town Alexandria), gift certificate give always (provided by great local OTA restaurants and bars ), and bar specials through the nights!

The Banzai is asking is asking you, our ever wonderful fans, to come out and support this great cause.
